About Us
What do we do?
We provide one-to-one support, 7 days a week. We support people to be part of their community. We employ experienced, well-trained staff. We work to the highest standards of quality. We value everyone as an individual.
Our aim is to provide high quality services that are based on each individual’s needs. We provide flexible, reliable and professional services for adults with different disabilities:
Learning Difficulties
Acquired Brain Injury
Autism
Mental Health Issues
About our staff
Our rigorous staff selection procedures include involving the people we support in helping us to decide who to employ. Our training programme ensures that we have qualified, motivated people who provide a professional, person-centred service.
All staff are trained to be aware of abuse and we have a strong Safeguarding policy. This includes a Whistleblowing policy where staff are encouraged to speak out if they see poor practice.
Our assurance to you
We have a Quality Assurance System so that we can monitor, evaluate and improve our service.
We provide services under contract for Dudley Council and Dudley Clinical Commissioning Group. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission and have full insurance cover for all our work.
Our Annual Meetings
We run our annual meeting so that the people we support can come along, take part and understand what the Society has been doing over the past year. It’s always a bit different and great fun. Please see our Facebook page for pictures.
Trustees
A local board of trustees oversees the work of the Society and ensures all our activities contribute to our aims. Some trustees have valuable personal experience of disability and being family carers.
